The People Design HR Book Club

As a business owner, I will confess that I don't always practice what I preach. I know what I SHOULD be doing and how I should be showing up for my team, but it is easier on some days than others. Team meetings get shelved for client priorities more often than I would like, 1:1s become hard to squeeze in and some weeks, communication could absolutely be better.

One thing I am passionate about though is ensuring we are always learning and growing. It helps to keep us motivated, excited and ensures that we are providing the best possible services to our clients.

The People Design Book Club is one way we do this. Each team member chooses a book, I bulk buy on Amazon and distribute and we have a set time period to read it. Only proviso is that it needs to inspire us in our work in some way.

Our current book is 'Man's Search for Meaning' by Victor Frankl.

I often cite Frankl in our work, however I have never read this one cover to cover.

Looking forward to unpacking it with the team, and then with you guys of course!
